The Customer Record — People, History & Quick Actions

GoalAttach the individual people, read the relationship at a glance, and launch work straight from the record.

Open any customer and you get the whole relationship: metric cards for Total Bids, Win Rate, Total Revenue, and Active Pipeline, plus tabs for Overview, Projects, Bids, and Activity.

Companies are the record; people attach to them. On the Overview tab, the People at this company section takes + Add person — name, role, phone, email. That's where the estimator you actually call lives, and one architecture firm can carry its whole design team.

The Add for toolbar at the top starts work pre-linked to this customer: Bid, Submittal, Change Order, or Meeting. And every call or email you log against the customer shows on its Activity tab — anyone on your team can pick up the thread without starting over.

The CSI trade filter earns its keep here: filter Customers to Sub / Trade Partner, pick a division, and you have your bid-invitation list for that trade in two clicks.

Try it yourself

  • Open a customer and add a person with their role and cell number.
  • Start a bid from the customer's Add for toolbar.
  • Filter the customer list to one CSI division and count your subs in that trade.

Key takeaways

  • Companies are records; individual people attach under People at this company.
  • Customer metrics (bids, win rate, revenue, pipeline) compute from your real history.
  • The Add for toolbar starts pre-linked work; the Activity tab keeps the shared memory.
