How does volume pricing work?
Your price is set by the volume of work you manage in Tempus 7 — the value of contracts you mark signed over the trailing twelve months. Work you run elsewhere isn't counted. Your first year is priced on what your trial shows, which for most companies means starting at our lowest band — deliberately underpriced while you move your operation in. After that, each annual renewal is re-priced on the volume you actually ran the previous year, up or down, with 60 days' notice; monthly plans are reviewed quarterly with 30 days' notice. Your billing page always shows your measured volume and where your next price will land — nothing sneaks up on you, and nobody has to guess.
Do I pay per user?
Never. Every plan includes unlimited office, field, and portal users. Hiring three estimators or thirty field crew changes your bill by exactly zero.
Is there a setup fee?
Concierge onboarding — your spreadsheets imported, your cost book built, your crew trained — is $2,500, and it's waived when you prepay your first year.
What if I don't run all my work through Tempus 7?
That's your call — only the work you manage in Tempus 7 counts toward your price, so you control the dial. Keep a job out and you'll pay less; you'll also run that job the old way — the spreadsheets, the email chains, the retyping. Most companies try it both ways early on and decide job by job whether the system earns its keep. We think it will, and we're comfortable letting the work prove it.
What counts as a specialty subcontractor?
Welding and steel fab, sheet metal, glazing, mechanical, electrical, concrete — any trade that bids work and runs crews on a GC's project.
