What's new in Tempus 7: September 25, 2026

This update came straight from your feedback, like the last one. Thank you for telling us what was getting in the way.

Tempus 7 in Portuguese

• Tempus 7 is now fully available in Brazilian Portuguese: every screen, every email, and every PDF.
• Each person chooses their own language. Open your user menu at the top right and choose Language, or set it under My Account. Your teammates keep theirs.
• The login page and our website have a language switch too. The Portuguese website lives at tempus7.com/pt-br.
• Tutorials and the step-by-step walkthroughs are translated.
• Typing numbers works the Brazilian way (1.234,56), phone numbers follow the Brazilian layout, and the assembly builder lists metric units first.
• Proposals, invoices and quality forms you send to customers use your company's language. Logs you export, like RFI and change order logs, use yours.
• Our legal pages are still in English for now. A Portuguese version adapted to the LGPD is in preparation.

Invite the companies on your project

• On a project's Directory, any company with an email address has an Invite to Tempus 7 button. Add a personal note if you like.
• They get an email from your company with a link to set up their own Tempus 7 account. The link works for 14 days, and Resend invitation sends a fresh one.
• When they join, you get a notice in your bell and the Directory shows them as On Tempus 7.
• Their account is their own. Inviting a company doesn't show them your project. You still share RFIs, submittals and change orders with them through secure links, as before.

Tasks

• Edit a task after it's saved: title, description, project, priority, due date, and who it's assigned to.
• Due dates now show the day you picked. Before, some showed a day early.

Change orders

• Give a change order your own number when you create it, or change it later. Tempus 7 still numbers it for you if you leave it blank, and warns you if a number is already used on that project.
• Attach the signed change order sheet on the change order's page, so the signed copy lives next to the change order.

Invoices from QuickBooks

• If your company has QuickBooks connected, invoices you raise in QuickBooks now appear on the Invoices page on their own. Choose Update from QuickBooks to bring them in right away.
• They carry a QuickBooks tag and are read-only in Tempus 7, so QuickBooks stays the record for them.

Dispatch

• Every job on the board has an Edit button, and the day view lists the jobs on that day, so you can fix a job before you print.
• The print page has an Edit jobs link back to the board.
• Type a new team name right in the job form. You don't need to set the team up first.
• Type a technician's name, like Greg, even if they don't have a Tempus 7 login. They get their own row on the board.

A privacy checkpoint for AI features

• A few features use our AI provider to read files you upload: the spreadsheet import wizard, supplier quote import, and proposal layout import.
• Every file is now checked on our own servers before anything is sent. Tax forms and payroll records are never sent. Files that seem to contain a Social Security number, tax ID, bank account or card number are stopped with a note saying what was found, and nothing is sent. The AI's answer is checked the same way.
• Company admins can turn AI features off for the whole company under Settings, AI features. Each feature still has a manual way to do the same job.
• The same page, and our Privacy page, say exactly what each feature sends.

Fixes

• The News card no longer hides behind the left rail.
• The practice band on the Tutorials pages is readable again.
• Printing the dispatch board no longer shows an error.
• Resetting the demo works again.

What we're working on next

• A Specifications module, with spec sections, revisions, and links from submittals and RFIs.
• Reminders for invitations that haven't been answered.
